The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.W. Harvey rode Diamond Steel (reserve) trained by Turlough O'Connor (Race 6)
G.B. Noonan rode Perfectway (reserve) trained by Eoin Griffin (Race 6)
L. Quinlan rode Lady Nightingale (reserve) trained by Paul Stephen Kiely (Race 7)
P. Cleary replaced J. Coen on General Hubble, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(stood down).
M.P. O'Connor replaced J. Coen on Mr McWhinny, trained by Paul John Gilligan (Race 7)(stood down).
E. Walsh replaced C.P. Millar on Coole Cottage, trained by David Kenneth Budds (Race 7)(stood down)

155A Ladbrokes Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed M.P. O'Connor, rider of Belle The Tigress, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M.P. O'Connor was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards advised Gordon Elliott, trainer of Arch Empire (FR), that a repeat performance from his charge, who unseated the rider on the way to the start, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

155B Ladbrokes 'Big Value' H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Gaelic Arc, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

K. Callaghan, rider of Saylavee, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left and never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Saylavee, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

155C Ladbrokes H'cap S'chase

C.P. Millar, rider of Walkonthebriteside, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

155D Ladbrokes 'We're Big On Boosts' Mdn Hdle

J.I. Duggan, rider of Buttermere Ridge, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped after the second hurdle.

155F1 Ladbrokes 'Gaffer Of All Accas' Hcap Hdl

P. Hanlon, rider of Bob The Builder, trained by R.P.Rath, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

G. Brouder, rider of Ixigreczed (FR), trained by E.Seymour, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by a faller in the backstraight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident passing the stands on the first circuit involving Oogum Boogum, ridden by C.P. Millar, where it appeared Oogum Boogum made slight contact with the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L. Quinlan, rider of Kalnoo, concerning his use of the whip in in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L. Quinlan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

155F2 Ladbrokes 'Gaffer Of All Accas' Hcap Hdl

E. Walsh, rider of Coole Cottage, trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

155G Allied Recycling (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards informed Anthony Mullins, trainer of Muted Melody, that a repeat performance in the behaviour of his charge who was withdrawn by order of the Raceday Stewards having refused to go to the start may render the animal liable to suspension in future.

Miss G. Benson, rider of Morning Mayhem (GB), trained by Peter John Flood, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung badly left for the last four furlongs.
