The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Ciaran Murphy, trainer of Michael's Pick (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. Stone-Walsh rode Macinamillion (reserve) trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 1)
J.W. Kennedy replaced D.J Gilligan on Media Naranja, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 1)(intended mount a non runner)

102A Specialist Group H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Holly (FR), trained by Jonjo & A.J. O'Neill (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a few minor wounds on its left stifle and its left elbow but to be otherwise post race normal.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Macinamillion, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a difficult ride at the start.

102B Frontline Security H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the last involving Saint Roi (FR), ridden by A.P. Kelly, placed second, and Pinkerton, ridden by Sam Ewing, placed first, where it appeared both horses wandered around. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blood Destiny (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

102C Mongey Communications Schase (La Touche)

S.D. Torrens, rider of Birchdale, trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

102F Conway Piling H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn out of the back straight involving Ashdale Bob, ridden by C.D Smithers, Captain Cody, ridden by P. Townend, Chantry House, ridden by N. de Boinville, Sequestered, ridden by J.G. Gilligan, Coming Up Easy, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and Getaway Charlie, ridden by Mr D. Doyle where it appeared Getaway Charlie got tight for room and clipped a heel unseating Mr. D. Doyle. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D Smithers stated he didn't receive any interference. P. Townend felt he kept his line on the outside around the bend and gave the horses on his inner plenty room. N. de Boinville stated he was on the outside and didn't move off his line. J.G. Gilligan stated he received a bump from his inside. Rachael Blackmore stated she received pressure from both sides as the field was coming around her. Mr. D. Doyle stated he clipped a heel as the horse in front of him came back on top of him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found N. de Boinville was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record (first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the first hurdle where Broomfield Bijou, ridden by D. Meyler, appeared to get tight for room on the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

N.T. Prendergast, rider of Finest Evermore, trained by Paul Hennessy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount choked in running.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Lucky Lyreen, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

Mr D. Doyle, rider of Getaway Charlie, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room and clipped a heel.

102G Close Brothers (M) Novice Hdle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the second hurdle where Mollys Mango (GB), ridden by P.V. O'Brien, clipped a heel and came down on the flat. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by a loose horse tightening several runners making Mollys Mango tight for room causing her to clip a heel and therefore took no further action.

P. Townend, rider of Spindleberry, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller and also made a bad mistake at the last hurdle down the back straight.

J.J. Slevin, rider of Karacole (FR), trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the faller.

102H JP & M Doyle (C&G) INH Flat Race

Miss J. Townend, rider of Cantico, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stopped quickly.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Samyr (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Port Joulain (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run away from the stands involving Angelo Dundee, ridden by Mr D. McGill, Goldinthemountains (FR), ridden by Mr P.A. King, and Samyr (FR), ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson where it appeared Sanyr got tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. D. McGill said he received pressure from his outside. Mr. P.A. King said he rode a straight line down the hill. Mr. J.L. Gleeson said he was riding the inside line when he received pressure from his left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. P.A. King was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), the Raceday Stewards, using their discretion, suspended him for one raceday.
