R.M. Power, rider of The Three Wizards (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount emptied after the third last and he just tried to nurse her home thereafter.
J.M. Moore, rider of Sarah Ash Calum, trained by P.Meany, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had previously run over five furlongs and he rode her to get the trip.
M. Hamill, rider of Punitive, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was ridden to get the trip and finish well.
294C Ladbrokes Where Nation Plays H'cap H'dleThe Stewards received a report from Mr. Hugh Hynes , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that O.R. Brown , rider of Shadow Seven (FR) , weighed in at 2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that O. R. Brown was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for one raceday.
294D Ladbrokes Acca Buck House Novice S'chaseM.P. Walsh, rider of Daly Tiger (FR) trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.
294F Ladbrokes Ingoldsby (QR) H'cap S'chaseMr J.J. Codd, rider of Court Tycoon, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount launched himself at a couple of fences and it then started to hang and lose its action.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Court Tycoon, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race. Samples were taken for further analysis.
