095A Irish Stallion Farm EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident between the 4 and 5 furlong markers involving Freedom Ring, ridden by A.J. Slattery, Ribchestina, ridden by R.C. Colgan, Time'll Tell (GB), ridden by C.D. Maxwell, and Travel Candy, ridden by C. Ngcobo where it appeared Freedon Ring was taken of its line clipping a heel as a result. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery stated that he got tight for room and clipped a heel. R.C. Colgan stated that his filly got intimidated and took a sidestep to the left. C.D. Maxwell stated that he heard a shout when he was trying to check off heels. C. Ngcobo stated that he was trying to keep his filly straight after she became unbalanced. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Freedom Ring, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room causing him to clip a heel inside the first furlong and a half.

C. Ngcobo, rider of Travel Candy, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

095B TRM Excellence In Equine Nutrition H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of King Of Scotia, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left inside the final furlong.

S. Foley, rider of Blanc De Noir, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount behaved awkwardly in the stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Coco Hill, trained by Michael Patrick Fenton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls.

095C Best Of Luck To Our Neighbours H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Half Nutz, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that the stalls rug stayed on his mount after the stalls opened.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Show Yourself (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

M. Mjoka, rider of Shoebox King, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tired in the closing stages.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Iva Batt, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged a bit left under pressure.

095D Anglesey Lodge Equine Woodlands Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tenebrism (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

095F Naas Racecourse Blackwater H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Immutable, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G.F. Carroll was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 2 racedays.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Miss Caruso, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

095G Racing TV Club Members H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Golden Spangle, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Cleary was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Hello Power, ridden by D.N. Curran, Khattaat, ridden by L.T. McAteer, Snow Lion, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Stepdance, ridden by J. Kearney and Golden Spangle, ridden by R.P. Cleary where it appeared Snow Lion ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.N. Curran felt he did not contribute to any interference. L.T. McAteer stated his horse lugged left momentarily but felt he corrected him immediately. D.P. McDonogh stated he had to check as he was tight on heels after getting pressure from both sides. J. Kearney stated he felt slight pressure from his outside. R.P. Cleary stated his mount rolled away from the horses on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action. Elaine O'Farrell accompanied J. Kearney at this enquiry.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Burgoo Beauty, trained by W.J.Lanigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Snow Lion, trained by Christopher David Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check back of heels after turning in.
