301B Rathasker Stud Irish EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards informed Mrs Prunella Dobbs, trainer that No Slouch, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards interviewed Pat Keating, Authorised representative of A.P.O'Brien, regarding the late arrival of two of their runners into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer's representative who stated that they had three runners in this race and each horse was saddled as quickly as possible by himself and the trainer. He admitted that other runners were in the process of leaving the parade ring when two of their charges entered the parade ring. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A.P. O'Brien was in breach of Rule 32 (ii) by failing to have two of his runners in the parade ring in a reasonable time before the signal to mount was given. Having taken the trainer's previous record into consideration, the Stewards fined A.P. O'Brien €200.

O.J. Orr, rider of Lily Lily Rose, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early on, hung to the right and blew up a furlong from the finish.

The Stewards fined A.P.O'Brien, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Happen (USA), prior to entering the parade ring.

301C Matchbook EBF Birdcatcher Premier Nur

The Stewards fined Michael Mulvany, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Silver Service, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Silver Service in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

L.F. Roche, rider of Recon Mission trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left during this race.

301E Clodovil Irish EBF Garnet Stakes

W.M. Lordan, rider of Most Gifted (USA) trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had no room to challenge in the closing stages.

301F Paddy & Cathy Timmons Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Damian Joseph English, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of See Of Rome (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had only transferred to his yard a few days prior to running at the Curragh on the 21st July where he disappointed. He was given a break and returned at Dundalk on the 21st September where he blew up possibly in need of the run. The last day at Navan on the 29th September his charge ran over the shorter distance of one mile and having broken smartly out of stalls, he was shuffled backwards and lost ground before running on well in the closing stages. In his opinion his charge was produced in good form today and got a clear run throughout the race. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
