T.P. Madden, rider of Shona Mea trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference mid way through the race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about one hundred and fifty yards from the finish involving Love Locket, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first and Soineanta, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed fifth, where it appeared that Soineanta ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature but advised D. O'Brien to ride with more awareness in the future.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about three furlongs from the finish involving Love Locket, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first, Shona Mea, ridden by T.P. Madden, unplaced, Soineanta, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed fifth and Allez Allez Allez, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared that Shona Mea suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference was accidental in nature and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined My Friend Stan, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Roche, placed first and Windham Belle, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was caused by general bunching which they deemed to be accidental in nature and consequently took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Crassus trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked badly after one and a half furlongs.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Borelli trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received a few checks during this race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the last two furlongs involving Castle Guest, ridden by L.W. Browne, unplaced, Marwari, ridden by Dylan Browne McMonagle, unplaced and Bodak, ridden by J.P. Shinnick, placed sixth, where it appeared that Bodak drifted across Castle Guest. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M. Halford accompanied L.W. Browne and Brendan Duke accompanied Dylan Browne McGonigle at this enquiry. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by J.P. Shinnick riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.P. Shinnick for one raceday.

The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Mother Vincent, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Gowran Park on the 14th October. J.S. Bolger reported that his charge jumped off slowly and lost interest at Gowran Park whereas today she raced with the pace and kept on well. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
