The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Laugier Night trained by Noel Meade was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined Noel Meade €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
J. Kearney, rider of Tsunami Speed (GB), trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he got tight for room at the furlong pole.
270C Goffs Sportsman's ChallengeG.M. Ryan, rider of Beechwood Star, trained by Richard Fahey (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room inside the two pole.
L.F. Roche, rider of Duplantis, trained by G.M. Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
L.T. McAteer, rider of Jakajaro, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left when he hit the front.
W.J. Lee, rider of King Cuan (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check one and a half furlongs out.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Ocean Baroque, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the halfway point.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident around the furlong pole involving Jakajaro, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed second, and King Cuan (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first where it appeared W.J. Lee had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he had to take a check as Jakajaro slightly drifted in. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount moved in slightly but corrected him straight away. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
270D TRM Calphormin Nursery H'capC.D. Hayes, rider of Kendall Roy (GB), trained by Miss Kate McGivern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled a bit right late on.
270E GAIN The Advantage Series Nursery H'capJ. Kearney, rider of Nika Pika, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early.
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Pomeriggio, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount received a bump leaving the stalls.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Tiscommonknowledge, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Enthralling, ridden by P.A. Harnett, Koniag, ridden by R.P. Whelan, and Tiscommonknowledge, ridden by D.P. McDonogh where it appeared it got tight for room momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that he was going back when he received a little contact from both sides. R.P. Whelan stated that he came in slightly for a clear run. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount was hanging left but felt he was clear of any interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. .
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages of this race involving Basilah Bear, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, and Tiscommonknowledge, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second, where it appeared both horses came close as Basilah Bear drifted slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
270G Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnW.J. Lee, rider of Ozark Daze (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around when he got tired.
