The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Meet And Greet, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cash Back (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing very hard post race.

The Stewards interviewed R.J. Condon, rider of Carrig Rock, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, R.J. Condon accepted that he was in breach of the whip guidelines in relation to frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.J. Condon was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.J. Condon for two racedays.

The Stewards interviewed A.P. Kelly, rider of Bread And Butter, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, A.P. Kelly accpeted that he was in breach of the whip guidelines in relation to frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A.P. Kelly was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A.P. Kelly for four racedays.

P. Townend, rider of Cash Back (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free during this race.

343E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dle

S. Fitzgerald, rider of Fiveonefive trained by Cian Michael Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount both hung and jumped badly to the right during this race.

The Stewards interviewed L.P. Dempsey, rider of Clonbury Bridge, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, L.P. Dempsey accepted that he had breached the whip guidelines in relation to frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that L.P. Dempsey was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended L.P. Dempsey for four racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fameaftertheglory (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

343H ISF EBF (Mares) (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Miss J. Townend, rider of Coole Cherry, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In her evidence, Miss J. Townend stated that her mount responded when challenged but she accepted that she was in breach of the whip guidelines in relation to frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Miss J. Townend was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her clean previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Miss J. Townend on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Halka Du Tabert (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr J.J. Codd stated that his first hit in the backhand did not connect and the remaining hits were within the whip guidelines for frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.J. Codd was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr J.J. Codd for three racedays.
