The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. Mullins replaced D.F. O'Regan on Allardyce (GB), trained by E.J. O'Grady (Race 1)(Unwell)
D.J. Mullins replaced D.F. O'Regan on Kopookris, trained by Liam P Cusack (Race 2)(Unwell)
R.M. Power replaced D.F. O'Regan on Mastermind, trained by Charles O'Brien (Race 4)(Unwell)

026A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auct M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined John G. Carr, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Fr Gilligansvoyge (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

A. Ring, rider of Western Ruler trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

026C Naas RFC Rated Novice H'dle

The Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Pete So High (GER), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that J.W. Kennedy was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.W. Kennedy for 1 raceday.
