Mr. A.J. Martin, Trainer, "Psycho" Handicapping Appeal

The Handicapping Appeals Body, Mr. Geoffrey Gibbs, Chairman, Mr. C.E. O’Sullivan and Mr. P.J.A. O’Connor, considered an appeal from Trainer, Mr. A.J. Martin, against the decision of Mr. Noel O’Brien, Senior Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Handicapper, to increase the Handicap Rating of “Psycho” by 15lbs following its win in the Fitzpatrick Castle Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown on 13th January, 2008. 

Having considered written submissions from Mr. Martin and from Mr. O’Brien, the Appeals Body dismissed the Appeal.
