The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche rode Miss Adventurous (reserve) , trained by Thomas Cooper (Race 7)

142A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Thunder Eclipse trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of the starting stalls.

142B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards requested a report from D. K. Weld, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Young Angel, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Sligo on the 18th May. Patrick O'Brien, Authorised representative of D.K. Weld, reported that their charge was drawn wide at Sligo and did not handle the track whereas today the filly handled the left handed track very well. He added that C.T.Keane, rider at Sligo, reported on the day post race that his mount lugged out. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

142C Return Of The Revival Festival H'cap

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. H. Hynes, that G.M. Ryan, rider of Ones Are Wild (GB), had weighed in at 12.9lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who agreed with the facts presented by the Clerk of the Scales and added that he did not have a lead cloth in his equipment when returning to scales. Daragh Dwan, Authorised representative of Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Ones Are Wild (GB), stated that he accepted full responsibility for this error as he had failed to include the lead cloth when saddling the colt and confirmed that the missing equipment had been left in the animals stable. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.M. Ryan had weighed in at 12.9lbs light and disqualified Ones Are Wild (GB) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231(i). The amended result now to read; First - Cisco Disco, Second - Tall Story, Third - Black Cat Bobby (GB), Fourth - Windsor Pass, Fifth - Wood Ranger.
Furthermore the Stewards were satisfied that there was a breach of Rule 36(iii) and Rule 148(i)and fined Donnacha Aidan O'Brien €500 through his representative Daragh Dwan.

142D Virtual Listowel Writers Week H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Lynwood Gold trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened.

Sean Cleary Farrell, rider of Exchange Rate (GER) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Politicise trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount went left on leaving the starting stalls.

The Stewards interviewed W.M. Lordan, rider of My Sister Sarah, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, W.M. Lordan stated that he was so conscious of trying to keep his record clean in relation to the whip and honestly felt that he had used the whip to within the guidelines but accepted on viewing the video that his use of the whip was in excess of the permitted guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that W.M. Lordan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to the provisions of R10(6)(a), the Stewards suspended W.M. Lordan for six racedays.

142E North Kerry Greenway (C&G) M'dn

A.J. Slattery, rider of Arioch (FR) trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right after the road.

M.A. Enright, rider of Chazzesmee trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around and ran very green.

142F2 Listowel Tidy Towns H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Miss Adventurous trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared up leaving stalls.

142G St. Johns Theatre Listowel (QR) Race

The Stewards fined Hugh Paul Finegan, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Happy Lad, prior to entering the parade ring.

Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Me Too Please trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount broke well, was happy throughout but just stayed on.

Miss S. Ahern, rider of No Memory trained by William Coleman O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was slowly away.

Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Sand Fly trained by Patrick Neville, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was slowly away.
