The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. J. McInerney rode Blustery (reserve), trained by Robert Tyner (Race 1)
Mr. T. Hamilton rode Camino Way (reserve), trained by R.P.Cody (Race 7).
S. W. Flanagan replaced D. Meyler on Champagne Paddy, trained by R.P.Cody (Race 1)(Injured)
S. W. Flanagan replaced D. Meyler on Without Limites (FR), trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle (Race 5)(Injured)

261A John J.Galvin M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed J.J. Slevin, rider of Slige Dala, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found J. J. Slevin in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency. Having considered J. J. Slevins record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

At the request of the Stewards, J.W. Kennedy, rider of Ardhill, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was a one paced horse that stayed on well but may appreciate a step up in trip.

261D Paud Fitzmaurice Memorial H'cap S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, D.E. Mullins, rider of Presenting Mahler, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly once she was headed.

261E Southampton Goodwill Plate H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crazywork De Vassy (FR), trained by Michael J. McDonagh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have abrasions on the heels of both forelegs but to be otherwise post race normal.
