The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving The Broghie Man (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan,and Cyrus Dallin (GB), ridden by James J. Doyle where it appeared that The Broghie Man ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise James J. Doyle to ride with more care in the future.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Ducky Mallon trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost action in the straight.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Angel's Amy trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got injured behind and pulled up thereafter.
G.M. Ryan, rider of The Broghie Man (GB) trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room after jumping from stalls.
256D Seamus Mulvaney Bookmaker H'capA.J. Slattery, rider of Divine Approach trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled after 1 furlong.
256E Guinness Kerry National H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Movewiththetimes, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
256G M.S.D. Animal Health M'dn H'dleE. McNamara, trainer of Another Cyclone, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge burst a blood vessel in running.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Another Cyclone trained by E. McNamara was found to have blood on the nostrils post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Benruben, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J.J. Slevin, rider of Benruben trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Stewards enquired into possible interference after jumping the final hurdle involving All Those Years (GB), ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed second and Jeremys Flame, ridden by J.M. Moore, placed first, where it appeared that both horses collided on landing. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
256H Listowel Vintners Assoc. INH Flat RaceThe Stewards fined P.G. Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Lucky Mare, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Lucky Mare in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.
