The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

G. Ahern, trainer of Whoyakodding (GB) (off feed) - €200

358A Future Ticketing M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hybery (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed post race.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of The Grey Panther, trained by S.J.Mahon, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that The Grey Panther would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.

358C Parkway Shopping Centre H'cap H'dle

Following a report from Ms Nicola O'Connor, IHRB Veterinary Officer, the Stewards requested an explanation from I.J. McCarthy, rider of Araukan, in relation to his riding in this race where he completed the course when his mount appeared to be very tired when jumping the fourth last hurdle and had already become detached from the other runners. Evidence was heard from I.J. McCarthy and S. Curling, trainer of Araukan. The IHRB Veterinary Officer reported Araukan to have blood at both nostrils post race. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards noted the rider's explanation.

At the request of the Stewards, C.J. Orr, rider of Need For Gold, trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a mistake and emptied quickly.

The Stewards interviewed Ronan M.P. McNally, trainer of Dreal Deal, following a report from the Racecourse Manager Mr. Patrick O'Callaghan that Dreal Deal was observed being led up by a minor while in the parade ring. Evidence was heard from Mr. O'Callaghan, Mr. Frank Clune, I.H.R.B. Security Officer and the trainer concerned. Furthermore the I.H.R.B. Security Officer reported that he also observed the same minor in the area of the weigh room during the coarse of today's meeting. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards referred both matters to the the C.E.O of the I.H.R.B for further investigation.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eagle Roque (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

358D Cube Printing H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Frankly All Talk trained by R. K. Watson was found to be clinically abnormal post race.

H. Morgan, rider of Une Lavandiere (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

S.A. Shortall, rider of Ellipsism trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt lame and was pulled up thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Une Lavandiere (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

358E Tim Duggan Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed S.A. Shortall, rider of Shady Operator, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from Mr. Brendan Powell authorised representative of Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Shady Operator. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.A. Shortall was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f)(force) and 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 3 racedays.

358F D Pack Packaging Rated Novice S'chase

B. Hayes, rider of Stones And Roses trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last and was pulled up thereafter.

The Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Halsafari, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.P. O'Sullivan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

358G Meetings That Matter INH Flat Race

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of The Brimming Water, trained by E. McNamara, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that The Brimming Water would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.
