The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Sean D Bowen rode Stabila (reserve) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 3)

T.P. Madden, rider of Leopardess (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount bucked for a few strides after she left the stalls.

157B Limerick Racecourse H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Linus Larrabee trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

J. Coen, rider of Wee Pablo trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of stalls.

157C Limerick Racecourse H'cap

G.P. Halpin, rider of Carslake (GB) trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and was slowly away.

The Stewards requested a report from J.P. Murtagh, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Deceit (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Oleg Pereverzev, Authorised Representative for the trainer, reported that the first time application of a tongue tie and a step up in trip had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report.

157D Limerick Racecourse H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sean Says, trained by Rodger Sweeney, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Out On Friday trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount spooked at the road on the first turn.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Evening Verse trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got checked at the first turn.

157E Limerick Racecourse H'cap

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Brewel Hill trained by Gearoid Patrick Brouder, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned a little right up the straight.

157F Limerick Racecourse H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Alessandro Algardi, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards requested a report from B. Duffy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Magic Chegaga, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Frank Duffy, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that the ground had slowed throughout the day on its previous run and his charge had failed to act on it. He felt that today's more favourable ground conditions had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

157G Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

J.J. Slevin, rider of Tullyhogue Fort trained by John F. O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
