068A National Student Raceday (M) M'dn H'dle
The Stewards enquired into the course taking by O Supreme, trained by Miss. Denise Marie O'Shea and ridden by C.J. Orr, who appeared to jump a chase fence instead of the first hurdle prior to pulling up. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that his mount momentarily went out of control on the approach to the first, ran onto the chase track and despite his best efforts jumped a fence before pulling up. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered all the evidence, the Stewards disqualified O Supreme from this race under the provisions of Rule 215 and accepted the explanation offered by the rider. Furthermore, the Stewards informed the trainer under the provisions of Rule 14(iii), that a repeat performance in the behaviour of O Supreme may render the animal liable for suspension.
D.N. Russell, rider of Cornakill Rose trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung and jumped left.
C.J. Orr, rider of O Supreme trained by Miss Denise Marie O'Shea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran out as he could not steer her.
P. Townend, rider of Princess Of China trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Princess Of China, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cornakill Rose, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
068B INH Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dleP. Townend, rider of Poker D'ainay (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and felt wrong behind.
M.P. Burke, rider of Ballinlongig trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount may have burst.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballinlongig, trained by John M.Burke, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal was found to have bled on endoscopic examination post race. There was no blood visible at the nostrils.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Poker D'ainay (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
At the request of the Stewards, L.P. Dempsey, rider of Lessofdnegativity, trained by A.J. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced at the top of the hill, stayed on one pace and made mistakes at the last two hurdles .

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Treacy, rider of Too Much To Ask, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Treacy was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i), in that he failed to give his mount time to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned R.P. Treacy.
068C2 Follow Limerick On Twitter H'cap H'dleThe Stewards requested a report from Karl Thornton, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Shanroe Al C, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. Thornton reported that the step up in distance and the better ground conditions helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Miss Mcilroy trained by G.T.Lynch was found to have blood at the nostrils.
The Stewards interviewed C.J. Orr, rider of Northern Emperor, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.J. Orr was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned C.J. Orr.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Leave Your Mark, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Dark Decade trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last hurdle.
P.D. Kennedy, rider of Thegoaheadman trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was flat when he came off the bridle.
The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Napoleon Blue, trained by Adrian Murray, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Stooshie trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake three out.
068F Greenmount Park Beginners S'chaseThe Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the second last fence involving Eviscerating, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third and The Church Gate, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, ran out, where it appeared The Church Gate ran short of room on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They were however, of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of Rule 214, in that she had ridden improperly. Having taking her previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for 3 racedays.
068G Follow Limerick On Facebook (M)H'cp S'chA. Ring, rider of Ilsnepasserontpas trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise and hung right.
