The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Shelley Brickley rode Tronador, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(Stewards permission).

148B Skippio Express Collection H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Jered Maddox (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action up the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the latter stages of this race, involving Jaafel, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, Eloquent Arthur (GB), ridden by S.D.Bowen, Thefullbackline (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan, Dagoda, ridden by C.T.Keane, and Maid To Shine, ridden by M.P. Sheehy where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.T.Keane stated that he was starting to drop back when he received slight contact. M.P. Sheehy stated that he was going backwards when he had to take a precautionary check. G.M. Ryan stated that he felt he had kept a straight line. C.J. MacRedmond stated he had room to go for the gap that he took and did not contribute to the interference. S.D.Bowen stated that his mount drifted left and felt he straightened his mount as quick as he could. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S.D.Bowen was in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended S.D.Bowen for five racedays. Mr. Kieran O'Connor accompanied S.D.Bowen at this enquiry.

148F WILD YOUTH Apprentice H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Hazy Mehmory, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free in the early stages of this race.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Morph Speed, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was squeezed up after a furlong.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Emperor Of Silk, trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check going into the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend of this race involving Hazy Mehmory, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, Morph Speed, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed second, Last Ammo, ridden by J. Coen, placed fifth, Theophilos, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, placed fourth, and Emperor Of Silk, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, J. Kearney stated that he received pressure from his right which forced him inwards to the rail. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he received pressure from the right. D.E. Sheehy stated that he was aware of the interference and took back. J. Coen stated that he was edging inwards and felt he was clear. C.J. MacRedmond stated that he received pressure from the right and had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Coen, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. Ms. E. O' Farrell accompanied C. Stone- Walsh, J. Coen and J. Kearney at this enquiry.

148G Bulmers Live At Leopardstown H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bright Dick, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right throughout this race.

J. Coen, rider of Summer Snow, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged slightly right from two furlongs out.

W.J. Lee, rider of Cherry Pink, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not quicken in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Bataan (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fifth, and Mobilise (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed, third, where it appeared Mobilise shifted across into Bataan's racing line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.T. Keane stated that his mount is easily intimidated and she over exaggerated the interference. G.F. Carroll stated that his mount shifted sharply across despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave G.F. Carroll the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and they took no further action.
