The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.M. Lordan rode Airgead (reserve), trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs (Race 2)
A.J. Slattery rode Wicklow Silver (reserve), trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs (Race 8)
W.M. Lordan rode Neyland (GB) (reserve), trained by Patrick Martin (Race 3)
Siobhan Rutledge rode Sweet Justice (reserve), trained by T.G. McCourt (Race 3)

137A Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF (Fillies) Mdn

R.C. Colgan, rider of Gallow Hill trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Zoe's Power trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green on the bend approaching the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dissociate, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race.

137B1 Plusvital H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Longbourn trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung turning in but it made no difference to his placing.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Oneiroi trained by D.Buckley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

Sam Ewing, rider of Razdan trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very keen early on.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Dedillon, ridden by A.J. Slattery, unplaced, Leabaland, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, Overheer (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, placed first, Imposing Supreme, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, Kosman, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed second, Hot Voice, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced and Razdan, ridden by Sam Ewing, unplaced, where it appeared Razdan met with interference and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery stated that he tried to pull back to create room when he saw Razdan running keen. R.P. Whelan stated that he was on the rail and didn't meet with any interference. O.J. Orr stated that he heard a shout from behind but didn't feel any interference and kept his line. C.D. Hayes stated that he saw the interference happening on his inside so he stayed wide. K.J. Manning stated that he wasn't affected by the interference. Sam Ewing stated that his horse ran very keen and he was trying to take a pull when his horse stumbled. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident accidental and took no further action. Sam Ewing was accompanied in this enquiry by Niall Almond. Mr. J.M. McGrath absented himself from this enquiry.

J.A. Powell, rider of Kosman trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned in when challenging.

137B2 Plusvital H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Dark Magic (GB) trained by Thomas Cleary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

S. Foley, rider of Malaysian trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Sweet Justice trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that she had an unclear passage in the straight.

137C Glencairn Stakes

The Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Magnanimous, placed first, as compared with its most recent run in Naas. Brendan Powell, authorized representative, stated that the horse hit all the ridges the last day and didn't act on the conditions. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations.

137D Monkstown H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Tauran Shaman trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was denied a clear run early in the straight.

K.J. Manning, rider of Tejano trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked inside the final furlong.

The Stewards enquired into two incidents in the home straight involving Bucky Larson, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth, Freescape (GB), ridden by D.W. O'Connor, unplaced, Tejano, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced, He Knows No Fear, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, Luke Short (GB), ridden by D. McMonagle, placed sixth and Theophile, ridden by W.T. Byrne, placed second, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Regarding the first incident D.W. O'Connor stated that he was back peddling when his ground was taken by a horse on his outside. K.J. Manning accepted that he had drifted to the left after he came under pressure. D. McMonagle stated that he went for a gap but it closed in front of him causing him to check. Regarding the second incident K.J. Manning stated that his run had finished when he received very minimal interference. C.T. Keane stated that he wasn't aware K.J. Manning was still there. C.D. Hayes stated that he felt pressure from his outside but he tried to keep a straight line. W.T. Byrne stated that he changed his whip into his left hand when he felt his mount starting to roll and did his best to keep straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that in relation to the first incident K.J. Manning was in breach of careless riding and considering his record in this regard, cautioned him on this occasion. Regarding the second incident the Stewards were satisfied the interference was accidental and took no further action. Mr. J.M. McGrath absented himself from this enquiry.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Juyush (GB) trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right off the final bend.

C.D. Hayes, rider of He Knows No Fear trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered in the first furlong and clipped a heel.

137E RACE Academy Apprentice H'cap

L.T. McAteer, rider of Getback In Paris trained by John F. O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Twentybore (GB) trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered turning in.

137G Donnybrook H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Baron Wild trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground throughout.

The Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Aurora Princess, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kate Harrington, authorised representative, stated that the application of blinkers seemed to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

The Stewards received a report from Mr Gordan Rochford, security official, in relation to an interaction he had with Anthony McCann, trainer. Evidence was heard from both parties. Mr. Rochford stated that Mr. McCann became abusive towards him when trying to gain access through the Foxrock Gate entrance. Mr. McCann stated that he had became irrate as he was trying to gain access as quick as possible as his animal became upset. He accepted he had used abusive language and apologised for his actions. Having considered the report, the Stewards were satisfied that Anthony McCann was in breach of Rule 272 and considering his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.
