357A Paddy Power 363 Christmas 3YO M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, D.E. Mullins, rider of Bint Chattleya (FR), trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount accidentally clipped a heel in the straight which caused her to fall.

The Stewards interviewed M.P. Walsh, rider of Sir Erec, concerning his use of the whip from the final hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.P. Walsh was in breach of R10(3)(e) by hitting his horse other than down the shoulder or on the hind quarters. The Stewards cautioned M.P. Walsh having taken his previous record into consideration.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Dolciano Dici (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground.

357D Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hdle

At the request of the Stewards, M.P. Walsh, rider of Triplicate, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well during the race but found nothing in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Triplicate, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound on the outside of his right hind heel, otherwise he was post race normal.

357F Paddy Power S'chase

D.N. Russell, rider of Borice (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the first fence which caused him to lose a prominent position and from thereon he jumped carefully and completed the race without ever getting back into contention.
