The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the finishing line involving The Greek, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first, and Belgoprince (FR), ridden by P.J. Carberry, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between both horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.N. Russell stated that it got tight between the two runners, but the interference did not effect his finishing position. P.J.
