353A Bet With Tote M'dn H'dle

D.E. Mullins, rider of Aera (GER) trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got injured and pulled up.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Fusain (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount whinnied before the line.

353B Thorntons Recycling M'dn H'dle

D.E. Splaine, rider of Inneen Oscar trained by Robert Widger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was outpaced from early on.

T. Ryan, rider of Doyen Dancer trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left for most of this race.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Exultation (FR) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Le Musigny (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that Le Musigny (FR) would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.

353D Holden Plant Rentals Novice H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Exceeded Brief, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be injured post race.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of De Mazzaro trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got badly hampered.

C.J. Orr, rider of Dollys Destination trained by Gary McGill, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got badly hampered.

D.N. Russell, rider of Exceeded Brief trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got cut behind.

The Stewards interviewed L.A. McKenna, rider of Prosecution (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that L.A. McKenna was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency, and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 2 racedays.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Dessie's Diamond, trained by Paul W. Flynn, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that Dessie's Diamond would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.

353E Racing Post Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Laurina (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be have had blood on the nostrils as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

P. Townend, rider of Laurina (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and bled.

353F Bet Through Racing Post App H'cap S'ch

The Stewards interviewed I.J. McCarthy, rider of Batcio (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that I.J. McCarthy was in breach of Regulations 10.3 (e), in that he used his whip on an area other than down the shoulder or on the hind quarters, 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and 10.3 (i), in that he used his whip without allowing his mount at least three strides to respond. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended I.J. McCarthy for 8 racedays.

D. Meyler, rider of Grand Partner trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ellie Mac, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.N. Russell, rider of Ellie Mac trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

353G Meetings That Matter INH Flat Race

Mr E. Mahon, rider of Pottlerath trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed John Cannon (GB), trained by Joseph G. Murphy, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the omission of hurdle number 1 from races 1, 2 and 3.
