The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jennifer Monaghan, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Rhydwyn. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that it was an error on her part and apologised for the oversight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule 195(i) and cautioned her regarding her responsibilities in this regard. Mr. R. Dore and Mr. P.G. Molony, Raceday Stewards, did not attend this enquiry.
268C Buckets Of Value At Tote Claiming RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Adam Caffrey, rider of Yester, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.
268D Pride Of Place M'dnPrior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, B. Sheridan, to amend the distance of this race to seven furlongs and 40 yards, for operational reasons.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Maid Of Eirinn, trained by G. Hassett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Maid Of Eirinn trained by G. Hassett was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Invincible Larne, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.
Mr T. Hamilton, rider of Punk Poet, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the stalls.
Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Royal Pippen, trained by S. Donohoe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't let himself down on the surface.

Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Lockdown (GB), trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her saddle slipped.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Arniemac, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
