255A Bohan Hyland & Associates H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Dapper Power trained by Edward Lynam was found to have blood on its nostrils as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Edward Lynam, trainer of Dapper Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel.

D.M. Simmonson, rider of Texas Radio trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he lost his irons soon after the start of this race.

255C Gilna's Cottage Inn Pride Of Place M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of House Call trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked in the final furlong.

The Stewards interviewed G. Malune, rider of Loose Chippings, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G. Malune was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned G. Malune on this occasion.

255D ScotchHall Shopping Centre Claiming Race

T.P. Madden, rider of Poetic Light (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

255E O'Neills Sports (QR) H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Mr N. McParlan, rider of Ken's Sam's, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr N. McParlan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr N. McParlan for 3 racedays.

255F Hibernia Steel (QR) Race

At the request of the Stewards, Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Commander Han (FR), trained by Jamie Osborne (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount went to jump and lost its action about a furlong from the finish.
