14 April 2008 K.T. Coleman Appeal – Limerick – 15th March 2008The grounds of the appeal were that while K.T. Coleman accepted that he breached Rule 212 the penalty imposed for the offence was grossly disproportionate.
Evidence was heard from K.T. Coleman and W.J. Burke, Trainer Paul Kristian (GB)
Having considered the evidence the Appeals Body reduced the penalty to 28 racedays but also imposed a fine of €3,000. They directed that the suspension should commence on Sunday 27th April, 2008.
