The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.C. Colgan rode Ahaziah (reserve) , trained by Mrs Denise Foster (Race 3)
S. Foley rode Divine Celt (reserve) , trained by John Joseph Murphy (Race 3)

208A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Cold Steel (USA) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong involving Cold Steel (USA), ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth, Exuma, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second, Hector De Maris, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed third and Snowy Owl, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. The Stewards found that G.M. Ryan had breached Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for five race days.

208C Killarney Oils H'cap

O.J. Orr, rider of Miombo trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

208D Kerry Group Kingdom Gold Cup H'cap

The Stewards looked at an incident inside the final 100 yards involving Zenon, ridden by S. Foley, placed first and Great Bear (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, where it appeared Great Bear (GB) seemed to suddenly shy from Zenon. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered a report from C.D. Hayes that his mount did not receive interference but shied of his own accord, the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined De Name Escapes Me, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

208E Owens McCarthy Claims Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lampetia, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

208H Killarney H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Ally Cay trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room at the furlong pole.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Arcland trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was interfered with in the final furlong.

L.F. Roche, rider of Der Mc trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left and right in the straight.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Indian Eye (GB) trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right all the way up the straight.

The Stewards looked at two incidents in the straight where Ally Cay, ridden by S. Foley, appeared to check and Arcland, ridden by C.D. Hayes, appeared to check. Having viewed the recording of the race the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.
