119B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (F) RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Ma Belle Artiste, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. H. J. Horgan accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found H. J. Horgan in breach of R.10.3(g)(Frequency) and taking into consideration his record in this regard and pursuant with R.10.6(a), they suspended him for six racedays.
S. Foley, rider of Starry Heavens, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the home bend.
119C Fexco M'dnN.M. Crosse, rider of Plunkett Street (GB), trained by Michael William O'Meara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
119D Irish Examiner H'capSiobhan Rutledge, rider of Dappled Light (GB), trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was carried off the bend slightly.
119E Celtic Steps H'capThe Raceday Stewards fined S.M.Duffy, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared tongue strap prior to entering the parade ring.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Miss Cunning, trained by Aengus King, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Plankton, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.
Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Miss Cunning, trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was never travelling and coughed during the race.
G.M. Ryan, rider of Two Metres Apart, trained by M. J. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Horgan, rider of Rock Etoile, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. C. Horgan accepted he was in breach and he apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found C. Horgan in breach of R.10.3(g)(Frequency) and R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and taking into consideration his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.
The Raceday Stewards informed G. Ahern, trainer that Hey Kameir, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
119G Killarney Outlook RaceD. McMonagle, rider of Ted Hastings, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.
R.C. Colgan, rider of Venice Biennale, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran into trouble in the straight.
