389C1 Muckross H'cap

The Stewards reviewed an incident three furlongs out involving Kornflake, ridden by P.A. Harnett, and Carirose, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

389C2 Muckross H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Thomas Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dazzling Spirit, placed first, as compared with its recent run at the Curragh on the 24th of September 2022, when finishing eighteenth of twenty three runners and was beaten by eighteen and a half lengths. Stephanie Searle, representing the trainer, reported that Dazzling Spirit was delayed en-route to the Curragh following traffic delays which appeared to upset the filly, who was also unsuited by the straight track on the day. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered. The Stewards were, however, satisfied that Thomas Mullins was in breach of Rule 147(v), for a failure to appoint an authorised representative to act on his behalf as required and fined him €130.

J.A. Powell, rider of Dazzling Spirit trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged left in the straight.

James J. Doyle, rider of Drish Melody trained by Donal Commins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged a bit left in the final furlong.

389D1 Ross Road H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Zebos Beanos trained by D.McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and didn't find much afterwards.

389D2 Ross Road H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from J.A. Nash, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Your Honor, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed recently and felt a combination of today's more favourable ground conditions and a more positive ride had helped to bring about today's improved performance. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the content of the report.

D. McMonagle, rider of Gudrun Genberg trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

389E1 Kenmare H'cap

R.C. Colgan, rider of Elle Dorado Rock trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a bit outpaced turning in.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Stellify trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount gurgled badly.

J.A. Powell, rider of Benkogambit trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
