The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.M. Donoghue rode Saqqara Secret (GB) (reserve) , trained by Mrs Denise Foster (Race 1)
C.P. McNamara rode Swingbridge (reserve) , trained by Mrs Denise Foster (Race 6)
D.F. O'Regan replaced S.W. Flanagan on Snow Falcon, trained by Noel Meade (Race 2)(Stood down after an earlier fall)
J.W. Kennedy replaced S.W. Flanagan on Greenhill Damsel, trained by Garrett James Power (Race 3)(Stood down after an earlier fall).
D.J. O'Keeffe replaced S.W. Flanagan on Great Trango, trained by David Harry Kelly (Race 4)(Stood down after an earlier fall)
D.F. O'Regan replaced D.J. O'Keeffe on Great Trango, trained by David Harry Kelly (Race 4)(Stood down)
K.C. Sexton replaced D.J. O'Keeffe on Shady Operator, trained by E. Bolger (Race 6)(Stood down).

109A Follow Ross Golf Club On Insta M'dn Hdle

At the request of the Stewards, D.F. O'Regan, rider of Attoe, trained by Seamus Spillane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference from fallers at the third last hurdle and furthermore the race was run at a slow pace with a sprint finish.

At the request of the Stewards, I.J. Power, rider of Iluvyounow, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped novicey and met with interference from fallers twice during this race.

At the request of the Stewards, C.P. McNamara, rider of Princesse Cleni (FR), trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference in a slow run race.

109B Sliabh Luachra H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Darver Star, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

J.M. Moore, rider of Darver Star trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Stewards interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Scarpeta (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence D.E. Mullins stated that in his opinion that he had not exceeded the guideline limit for frequency and suggested that one attempt to hit his mount had not succeeded as he was unbalanced. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D.E. Mullins was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended D.E. Mullins for 1 raceday.

109C Ring Of Kerry (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards reviewed an incident after the third last hurdle involving Lunar Display, ridden by J.J. Slevin, Esthers Marvel, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe and Merry Doyenne, ridden by Mr D.L. Queally, where it appeared that Esthers Marvel was tight for room. Having reviewed the video and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Merry Doyenne, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence Mr D.L. Queally accepted both charges put to him and did not offer any defence. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr D.L. Queally was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by failing to give his mount at least three strides to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr D.L. Queally for 1 raceday.

109D Easy Clean Limited H'cap H'dle

B. Hayes, rider of Prospectus (GB) trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

109E An Riocht S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Easy Game (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Unexcepted (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have been struck into on his left foreleg.

The Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Peregrine Run, trained by Peter Fahey, and ridden by K.C. Sexton, had to be resaddled due to a wrong number cloth being fitted. Evidence was heard from the rider, trainer and Ms A. O'Keeffe, IHRB Clerk of the Scales. Ms O'Keeffe outlined the weighing out procedure under the current Covid protocols and accepted that she had mistakenly told the rider to get a different number cloth than was required and furthermore that she had confirmed the weighing out procedure on her digital scales. Peter Fahey stated that trainer's at this current time are not allowed into the weigh room at the time of weighing out and on receipt of the saddle he believed that everything was in order. K.C. Sexton stated that the Clerk of the Scales had informed him to collect cloth number 5 instead of cloth number 4. Having considered evidence, the Stewards informed all persons that Covid protocols had led to changes but reminded Ms O'Keeffe, Peter Fahey and K.C. Sexton to be more careful in their responsibilities in the future

109F GMHD Killarney National H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Waitnsee, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fag An Bealach, trained by A.L.T.Moore, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Three Musketeers trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled before being pulled up.

G. Brouder, rider of Aforementioned (FR) trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into himself badly.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Fag An Bealach trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount never travelled throughout this race.

109G Clifford Groundcare Hunters S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rewritetherules trained by John Joseph Hanlon was noted to have blood at the nostrils as a result of a fall.

109H KillarneyRaces.ie INH Flat Race

At the request of the Stewards, Mr A. Leahy, rider of Shir Gwan I Will, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hanging left approaching a course marker at the two furlong area and tried to go inside it but ducked right quickly and unseated him.

The Stewards interviewed Mr A.T. Feeney, rider of Moulane West, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. A.T. Feeney was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Golden De Coeur (FR), ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, Moulane West, ridden by Mr A.T. Feeney, Uncle Gerhard, ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, My Design, ridden by Mr E.P. O'Brien and Shanacoole Dasy, ridden by Mr W.T. Cronin, where it appeared that interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr D. O'Connor stated that he got tight for room. Mr A.T. Feeney stated that his mount got bumped. Mr B. O'Neill stated that his mount ran short of room. Mr E.P. O'Brien stated that there was a lot of bunching and he got pressure from both sides. Mr W.T. Cronin stated that his mount was running green and hanging to the right. On getting racing room he lugged out further causing interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no action other than to advise Mr W.T. Cronin to ride with more awareness.

Richard Anthony Foley, trainer of Moulane West, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was coughing post race.
