P.Cluskey, trainer of Knockatoo Hill, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Monday 9th September that his charge had blood in her noise post race.

P.Cluskey, trainer of Knockatoo Hill, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Monday 9th September that his charge was found to have blood in her nose post race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.W. Kenny, rider of Ya Boy Ya, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.W. Kenny was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by using his whip without allowing his mount at least three strides to respond. Having taken his previous record into consideration the Stewards suspended Mr J.W. Kenny for 2 racedays.

249B Sean Hughes Mem. Opportunity M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Game Present, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

249C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Callthebarman, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Josephina, trained by Anthony Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on her right foreleg post race.

249D Devitts And Doheny & Nesbitt H'cap H'dle

P.Cluskey, trainer of Louie The Second, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Monday 9th September that his charge sustained an injury to his tendon during this race.

The Stewards wished to interview J.B. Kane, rider of Monsieur Bagot, concerning his use of the whip during this race. J.B. Kane accepted that he had three previous breaches of R10(3) since the new whip Regulations came into effect. Having considered the riders acceptance of his disciplinary record in relation to R10(3), the Stewards pursuant to R10(6) referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for consideration

L. Quinlan, rider of Eimear trained by W. Ross, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eimear, trained by W. Ross, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemmohage.

249F Kilsaran H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Timmons, rider of Aasleagh Dawn, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.D. Timmons was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended C.D. Timmons for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed R.J. Condon, rider of Kilkishen, concerning his use of the whip during this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R.J. Condon was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken into consideration his previous record, the Stewards suspended R.J. Condon for 2 racedays.

A. Ring, rider of Mossy White trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mossy White, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

249G September Meeting (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Supreme Sally, trained by Richard Pugh, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.
