The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Backing Band trained by Peter Fahey was found to have had blood at both nostrils post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemmorhage.

M.J. Doyle, rider of Chief Black Robe trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very keen going down to the start.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Felicidad (FR) trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up very lame.

143E Mid-Summer Monday 14th June Beg. S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Flindt, trained by Ciaran Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame on his left hind leg and coughing post race.

P.T. Enright, rider of Optum trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

The Stewards fined Eugene M. O'Sullivan, trainer, €65 for entering the parade ring with undeclared cheekpieces fitted on Optum.

The Stewards granted permission for this race to be started by flag.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Fairyhill Run trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made some mistakes at the halfway stages.

143G Kilbegganraces (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into the fall of Trot On, ridden by Shane Fenelon approximately 8 furlongs from home. Shane Fenelon reported that his mount fell independently and subsequently brought down Lanziano, ridden by Mr. J.P. Sutton. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
