The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. Fitzgerald replaced M.J.M O'Sullivan on Mastermind, trained by Charles O'Brien (Race 4)(injured).
S. Fitzgerald replaced A.P. Kelly on Simply Shabra, trained by Anthony McCann (Race 5)(injured).

090A2 Spring Two Day N.H. Meeting M'dn H'dle

D. Moloney, rider of Comeragh Belle, trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped.

090C Follow Kilbeggan On Facebook H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Golden Sandbanks (GB), trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have skin scrapes to the outside of its right fore but to be otherwise post race normal.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of She's Commanche, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Fanoir, trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered by one of the front runners dropping back.

090E Ir. Stallion Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Slim Marvel (FR), trained by Andrew Slattery, concerning the fact that he appeared to stop riding and lost third place. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he mistook the fifty metre mark for the winning post and apologised. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. A. P. Ryan was in breach of Rule 212 A (iv), in that he stopped riding and lost a better placing. Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr. A. P. Ryan for five racedays.

090F Racing Again Tomorrow INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Pickanumber, ridden by Mr B. Lawless, placed fourth, and Soldante, ridden by Mr F. Maguire, placed fifth, where it appeared that Soldante got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. B. Lawless stated that his mount drifted right to the rails. Mr. F. Maguire stated that he got a little tight and had to check momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise Mr. B. Lawless to ride with more awareness in the future.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Soldante, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to the first and a two minute delay to the second and third races.
