HRI Announce Race Programme Alterations

Following the cancellation of the two steeplechase races at Roscommon on Tuesday, July 10, Horse Racing Ireland has announced the following race programme alterations

• The Roscommon Racecourse Mares Beginners Steeplechase (Race 177E) is deleted from the programme

• The Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Handicap Steeplechase (Race 177F) is also deleted from the programme and will now be held at the Limerick Meeting on Saturday, July 14 to form an eight-race card (Entries for this race (182H) will close by 12 noon on Tuesday, July 10 along with the rest of the Limerick Meeting)

• An additional race has been added to the Roscommon programme – this will be a handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards rated 80-95 over 3 miles and 148 yards (Race 177H).

• The intention is to divide at least one race at this Roscommon meeting to form a seven-race card depending on the number of entries received.
