J.A. Powell, rider of Winning Mischief trained by D.Harvey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Millie's Street trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced freely.

258C Golf At Gowran Park H'cap

S. Foley, rider of It's Snowing trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to ease his mount a few strides from the line.

The Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Marsa, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that his yard had been out of form earlier in the season and has recently come back into form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

258D Membership At Gowran (F) Claiming Race

B.M. Coen, rider of Chicago Lightening (GB) trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from the stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Is Fantastic trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount's hind leg slipped when jumping from the stalls.

258E1 Societies At Gowran Park Apprentice Hcap

J.A. Powell, rider of Rose Of Malta trained by P.F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break and ran around under pressure.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Cherub Rock trained by Richard John O'Brien was found to be lame on her left hind leg post race.

258E2 Societies At Gowran Park Apprentice Hcap

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Eastern Racer trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount checked at the bottom of the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of Lifeinthefastlane trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount wandered around a little under pressure.

The Stewards reviewed an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Eastern Racer, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, Salt Whistle Bay, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, and Zaur, ridden by S.T. McCullagh where it appeared Eastern Racer checked. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Zaur, trained by Michael Butler, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount rolled around under pressure in the straight.

258G Racing Again September 17th M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Douglas Dc trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got fractious in the stalls.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Raven Rule trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

W.J. Lee, rider of Shadow Analysis (USA) trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't move well.
