M.P. Sheehy rode Storm Steps (reserve) trained by Patrick Martin (Race 8)

131A Gowran Park Golf Club Claiming Race

The Stewards interviewed Lee Smyth, trainer of Adapt To Dan, concerning the conduct of his horse who refused to race. The Stewards advised Lee Smyth, that a repeat performance may render in his charge been suspended in the future.

S. Foley, rider of Paris Lights trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

B.M. Coen, rider of Saraqael trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race.

131E1 Membership At Gowran Park Golf Club Hcap

W. Joyce, rider of Out On Friday trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran a little keen throughout this race.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Dusty Winds trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and had no luck in running.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Focus Required trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no racing room from a furlong down.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Facethepuckout, trained by Leanne Breen, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards requested a report from Peter Fahey, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Angel's Trumpet, placed first, as compared with its most recent form. Mr Fahey trainer, stated that his charge had gone a bit stale at home and that he reapplied blinkers back on with a good draw helped bring about todays improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Miss Cunning trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slow away from stalls.

131F Gowran Park H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Eighty Eight trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of stalls.

At the request of the Stewards, W.J. Lee, rider of Observing, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount momentarily lost his action for a stride and he allowed him to get home.

131G Racing Again June 6th H'cap

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Morning Skye trained by Peter John Flood, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
