The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.T. McAteer rode Tio Esteban (FR) (reserve) , trained by W.J. Martin (Race 7)

252A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P. Malone, that L.T. McAteer, rider of No Nay Forever, had presented at scales to weigh out 3 lbs over the declared weight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from Mr. James M. Barrett, trainer, who stated that he was satisfied to have L.T. McAteer carry the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the overweight however were satisfied that L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 198 (vii), and having considered his record in this regard fined him €150.

252C Holden Plant Rentals Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Saltonstall (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness was found to have had blood on both nostrils post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Saltonstall (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst blood vessels.

252D1 MansionBet Beaten By A Head H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Dani's Boy trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran nervously with blinkers on.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Macaban City trained by Gerard Michael Hussey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very slow into stride.

Gerard Michael Hussey, trainer of Macaban City, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge lost a shoe in running.

252E D.Cordell Lavarack/Lanwades Stud(F)Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ennistymon, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

252G 2021 Golf Membership From 600 (F) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident after turning into the home straight involving Indian Sioux, ridden by L.T. McAteer, Insinuendo, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Red Heel, ridden by G.F. Carroll, where it appeared that Indian Sioux ran short of room on the outside and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and they took no further action, other than to advise L.T. McAteer of his responsibility to give accurate evidence in future.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Indian Sioux trained by Thomas Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked turning into the home straight.
