317A Golf At Gowran Park Nursery H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Summer Snow trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he dropped his whip one furlong out.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hilltop's Bear trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Static Charge (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fourth, Rhythm King, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed first, and Summer Snow, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed second, where it appeared Rhythm King moved right taking the ground of Summer Snow early in the straight. The Stewards also enquired into an incident at around the 1 furlong marker where it appeared Summer Snow moved right taking the ground of Static Charge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In relation to the first incident, G.M. Ryan felt he had not caused any interference. J.A. Powell stated that he received no interference. In relation to the second incident G.F. Carroll stated that he had to check back when his ground was taken by Summer Snow. J.A. Powell stated that he was halfway into the gap when it got a bit tight but felt he was entitled to go for the gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards, in relation to the first incident made no alteration to the judges placings and took no further action. In relation to the second incident, the Stewards were of the opinion that J.A. Powell was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Stewards informed Joseph G. Murphy, trainer that Orchis, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

317B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

S.M. Crosse, rider of Dark Side trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of Spring Evening trained by Yvonne Latta, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.

317C Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) M'dn

The Stewards reviewed an incident at around the 2 furlong marker involving Moonlit Mist, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and On The Money, ridden by K.J. Manning where it appeared On The Money jinked left making contact with Moonlit Mist. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

M.A. Enright, rider of Aussie Girl trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early.

317D Dine At Gowran Park H'cap

A.J. Slattery, rider of Fools Glory trained by P.F.McEnery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight.

The Stewards requested a report from P.F.McEnery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fools Glory, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. P.F. McEnery stated that Fools Glory was possibly in season on its last run at Killarney on the 1st of October and he attributed this to the poor run on that occasion. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

317E1 Racing Club Membership H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident at around the 2 furlong marker involving Stormy Jenn, ridden by R. Whearty, Hot Bell (GB), ridden by C. Horgan, and Kampala Beach, ridden by S.P. Davis where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Whearty stated that his horse exaggerated a move from the horse on his inner. C. Horgan stated that his switched out to take off heels. S.P. Davis stated that his horse was going backwards when receiving a bump from his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Carirose trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Corballis Flyer trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he eased his mount turning into the straight as he got very tired.

The Stewards notified Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer, that a repeat performance of Carirose, who refused to race may render the animal liable for suspension in the future.

317E2 Racing Club Membership H'cap

William J. Fitzpatrick, trainer of Gentleman Jimmy, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge was found to be blowing hard post race.

317F Gowran Park Racing Club (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Blazing Skies, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. W. MCCreery stated that the step up in trip and the removal of its previously worn headgear is what he attributed the apparent improvement in form to. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

317G Racing Again November 26th H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Zuhra trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away from the stalls.
