The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Concert Hall (off feed) - €200

398A Bennettsbridge (Fillies) M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Buenaventura trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

398B1 Goresbridge H'cap

D. McMonagle, rider of Medway (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled around a little.

Adrian O'Shea, rider of Writewhenyouland trained by Mrs.A.M.O'Shea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got badly hampered a furlong down. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

398B2 Goresbridge H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Faraway Dreams trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got squeezed leaving the gates.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Faraway Dreams, trained by M.Halford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

398C2 Thomastown M'dn

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Irish Chief (USA) trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around under pressure.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Witham River, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

398D Paulstown H'cap

Sorcha Woods, rider of Zalzar trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was pulled up injured.

398E Irish Injured Jockeys Fund H'cap

The Stewards interviewed N.M. Crosse, rider of Mountain Fox, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that N. M. Crosse was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered N. M. Crosse's record in this regard the Stewards suspended N. M. Crosse for three racedays.
