The Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the line involving Ballycallan King, ridden by Mr T. Walsh and Ney, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, where it appeared Ney received interference and made contact with the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. T. Walsh stated that his horse jumped left at the last and was making his way back towards the rail. He added that he wasn't aware of the horse coming to challenge on his inner. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that that gap was there and always felt there was room even though it got tight and he hit the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise Mr. T. Walsh to ride with more awareness in future.
