The Stewards requested a report from Norman Lee, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oskar High, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Norman Lee reported that his charge ran disappointing on it's most recent run at Ballinrobe on the 31st May and the gelding was given a break after this run as his yard was under a cloud. He added that recently the runners had shown a return to form. He also felt that the ease in the ground conditions and a drop to a rating of 82 were contributing factors to the improved performance. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report.
