The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.M. Donoghue replaced B.J. Cooper on Ozzie's Way, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 3)(Injured)
Rachael Blackmore replaced B.J. Cooper on Latest Exhibition, trained by Paul Nolan (Race 4)(Injured)

304A The Renvyle House Hotel 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed J.S. McGarvey, rider of Sacchoandvanzetti, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that J.S. McGarvey was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.S. McGarvey for 2 racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Youarestar (GB) trained by Andrew McNamara, which parted company with his rider at the first hurdle, was noted to have blood on both nostrils post race

304B Connolly's RED MILLS EBF Auct. Mdn H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Arthur's Baby, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

304C SANSERV Rated Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aforementioned (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled his left fore shoe otherwise was post race normal.

304D Corrib Oil M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low lying elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for hurdles # 3,4 & 5 to be omitted from this race

At the request of the Stewards, C.D. Timmons, rider of Ensel Du Perche (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped well to be in contention, he was caught flat footed when the three hurdles in the back straight were omitted and the race got away from him. In his opinion his mount would be better suited to softer ground and running over a longer trip

At the request of the Stewards, J.J. Slevin, rider of Resurrected Duke, trained by T.J. Taaffe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early on before settling and jumping well but weakened after the second last hurdle

304E W.B. Gavin & Co. H'cap H'dle

Owing to the low lying elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for hurdles # 3,4 & 5 to be omitted from this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Razoul, trained by R.P.Cody, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Stewards, P.T. Enright, rider of Westerner Point, trained by Eoghan O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount which is a good jumper was unable to keep up with the pace of the race and the omission of the three hurdles in the back straight left him out of contention. .

304F Faber Audiovisuals H'cap H'dle

Owing to the low lying elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for hurdles # 3,4 & 5 to be omitted from this race

304G COLM QUINN BMW (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Farceur Du Large (FR), trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal .

GENERAL INFORMATION

Following a request from broadcasters to facilitate the coverage of races following the cancellation of Doncaster and Newbury, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays:

Races 1 to 6 inclusive; +10 minutes

Race 7; +5 minutes
