The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gearoid Patrick Brouder, trainer of Devious Dreamer (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.A. Powell rode Erbacher (reserve) trained by J.F. Levins (Race 7)

214B Latin Quarter Beginners S'chase

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Hannon trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up lame during this race.

214D COLM QUINN BMW Mile H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Fastnet Crown trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped on leaving the starting stalls and then his mount plunged.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Saltonstall (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fastnet Crown, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mosala, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Danesfort (GB) trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room in the straight.

J.A. Powell, rider of Half Nutz trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Excuzio Joe trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the straight.

214G Caulfield Industrial H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Blackcastle Storm (GB) trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded after the start.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Skontonovski (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded after the start.

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the start involving Clear Quartz, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Star Of Cashel, ridden by Adam Caffrey, Blackcastle Storm (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, Cleveleys (GB), ridden by S.M. Crosse, Geological, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, and Skontonovski (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan where it appeared that Blackcastle Storm (GB) and Skontonovski (GB) both checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence W.J. Lee stated that it got tight in front of him when Geological moved across and then a few strides later he received further pressure from his outside. R.P. Whelan stated that he ran short of room when W.J. Lee took back his mount Blackcastle Storm (GB). S.M. Crosse stated that he was upsides Skontonovski (GB) when receiving pressure and in turn he ricochet onto the horses on his inner. D.W. O'Connor stated that the race got tight in front of him and he was trying to avoid clipping heels and minding Blackcastle Storm (GB) on his inner. Adam Caffrey stated that he got pressure from his outside and was unable to do anything at that point. G.M. Ryan stated that he felt that he was clear of the horses immediately behind him when moving across to the running rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
