The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Siobhan Rutledge rode Natch (GB) (reserve) , trained by John C. McConnell (Race 7)

W.J. Lee, rider of Pontchateau trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he used his whip once down the shoulder in the forehand position when his mount went to lean in on another challenger.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Mythologic, ridden by Gary Mahon, placed second, Protagonist (FR), ridden by S. Foley, placed first and Mr Mooj, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Mr Mooj trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the first one and a half furlongs of this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kerandi, trained by M.Halford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Musalsal, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fifth, Nakakande, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced and Amazing One (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, unplaced, where it appeared that Amazing One (GB) ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by R.P. Whelan riding carelessly this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.P. Whelan for 1 raceday.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Amazing One (GB) trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Billyfairplay, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed fourth, Nakakande, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, Eacharn, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed sixth and Stamp Of Authority, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed second, where it appeared that Nakakande checked severely when racing on the rails position. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by A.J. Slattery riding carelessly this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A,J, Slattery for 2 racedays.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Lady Sonia trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room in the early stages of this race.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Keep Believing trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the straight.

126F1 Meath H'cap

The Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder, rider of Yug (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.P. Brouder was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to R10(6)(a) the Stewards suspended G.P. Brouder for 6 racedays.

126F2 Meath H'cap

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Camlann trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was found to be lame when pulled up during this race. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed to the Stewards that Camlann was lame post race.
