The Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the second last involving Abacadabras (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed second, Darver Star, ridden by J.M. Moore, placed third and Midnight Run, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental and therefore took no further action.
338D BARONERACING Porterstown H'cap S'chaseOwing to the low trajectory of the Sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences 6, 7 and 8 to be omitted from this race.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Aherlow trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a mistake, never travelled thereafter and was pulled up.
P.T. Enright, rider of Wrong Direction, trained by Seamus Spillane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't get the trip.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wrong Direction, trained by Seamus Spillane, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Stewards interviewed P.T. Enright, rider, in relation to his riding of Wrong Direction, who appeared tired when making a mistake at the last fence and was subsequently pulled up. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that his mount felt capable of jumping the last while racing in fifth place, but emptied quickly and made a mistake. He stated that he quickly pulled up thereafter and added that if his mount had tired further out he would have pulled up before the last. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and reminded P.T. Enright of his future responsibilities in this regard.

Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Somme Soldier, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Somme Soldier in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.
The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the home straight involving Crosshill, ridden by Mr F. Maguire, unplaced, Eric Bloodaxe, ridden by Mr T. Hamilton, placed first, Favori De Champdou (FR), ridden by Ms L. O'Neill, placed fourth and No Grey Area's, ridden by Mr R.W. Barron, unplaced, where it appeared that Favori De Champdou ran short of room . Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental and therefore took no further action.
The Stewards interviewed O.R. Brown, rider of Fun Light (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that O.R. Brown was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.
