The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Farouk D'alene (FR) (Off feed) - €200

385B McGann Energy Consultants Rated Nov S'ch

P. Townend, rider of Et Dite (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler, rider of Farmix (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D. Meyler was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned D. Meyler on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed S.W. Flanagan, rider of Dis Donc (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S.W. Flanagan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended S.W. Flanagan for 3 racedays.

385C Granite & Marble Crafts H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Clonguile Way, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

At the request of the Stewards, J.M. Moore, rider of Clonguile Way, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the first fence and never travelled thereafter.

385D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Darling Daughter, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

A.W. Short, rider of Didgeridee trained by Miss Clare Louise Cannon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having never travelled during this race.

385F1 Easyfix Equine M'dn H'dle

R.J. Condon, rider of Sienne D'or trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

385G Boynesider Office Furniture H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Dessie's Diamond, ridden by D.F. O'Regan, placed second, Sadies Trix, ridden by K.C. Sexton, placed first and Vitudurum, ridden by M.J. Bolger, placed third, where it appeared that Vitudurum was tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.
