The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.P. Sunderland, trainer of Primadonia (GB) (Declared in Error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.J. Manning rode Tribal Path (reserve) , trained by Damian Joseph English (Race 6)

309A Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk M'dn

James J. Doyle, rider of Sceptical (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

O.J. Orr, rider of Midge Maisel (GB), trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared leaving the stalls and missed the break.

309B Dundalk Stadium Claiming Race

N.M. Crosse, rider of Garryowen (GB) trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

309D Book Your Christmas Party At Dundalk Hcp

S.M. Mooney, rider of Aussie Valentine trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Sky Seven trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hammered coming out of stalls.

K.J. Manning, rider of Wee Jim trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

O.J. Orr, rider of Koybig trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was wiped out after 50 yards.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Sky Seven, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Tony The Gent, ridden by S.M. Crosse, Phoenix Open (USA), ridden by G.F. Carroll, Mutadaawel, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Koybig, ridden by O.J. Orr, and Malbas (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, where it appeared that a number of runners were forced to check when Malbas (GB) moved significantly left on leaving the starting stalls. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan gave his evidence in the presence of Pat Martin. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found J.M. Sheridan in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for 4 race days. The Stewards also found J.M. Sheridan in breach of Rule 211 (marker poles) and having taken his record in this regard into account cautioned the rider.

309E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

At the request of the Stewards, P.B. Beggy, rider of Flying Scotsman, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount is a raw horse which ran green and didn't quicken in a steadily run race which turned into a sprint in the straight.

309F1 Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

T.P. Madden, rider of Piper Bomb trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was reluctant to race and was slowly away.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Everyhouronthehour, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account and pursuant to Reg.10.6. suspended the rider for 7 race days.

309G Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Watchman, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Jess's Corner trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left all the way.
