The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of Dark Vader, concerning the fact that he appeared to fail to ride in a straight line before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule 211 (a) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

336C Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnThe Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Deadwood, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Glorious Hero, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, and Star And Crescent, ridden by R.P. Downey, where it appeared Deadwood ran out of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.
336D Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'capThe Stewards requested a report from Kieran P. Cotter, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Dash D'or, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this mare possibly appreciated being freshened up by the two month break. She had previously won on this surface and the race seemed to fall her way this evening. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
The Stewards interviewed S.B. Kelly, rider of Shore Step, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found S.B. Kelly in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.
336E Dundalk Stadium Apprentice H'capThe Stewards fined F.Birrane, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Sir Danilo (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Sir Danilo (GB) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.
The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Shadow Seven (FR), ridden by A.C. Persse, and Super Sling (GB), ridden by A. Mackay, where it appeared Super Sling (GB) received a bump from Shadow Seven (FR). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found A.C. Persse in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.
T.P. Madden, rider of Thefaithfulindian trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered leaving the stalls.
The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Super Sling (GB), ridden by A. Mackay, and Thefaithfulindian, ridden by T.P. Madden, where it appeared Thefaithfulindian received a bump from Super Sling (GB). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.

Madden, Caronda (GB), ridden by Emma Louise Doyle, and Nailed On Nina, ridden by G.M. Ryan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.

Lordan, where it appeared Solar System checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature but advised W.M. Lordan to ride with more care in future.
336G(i) Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey&Trainer Hcap (Division One)The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Will Be King, ridden by S.M. Crosse, and Sharg, ridden by S.B. Kelly, where it appeared Sharg was forced to check after Will Be King appeared to take his ground. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature but advised S.M. Crosse to ride with more care in future.
336G(ii) Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey&Trainer Hcap (Division Two)The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Red Avenger (USA), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who gave his evidence in the presence of Mr. Fran Power. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Munaajaat, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was crowded in the first hundred yards.
The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Munaajaat, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed Place, Chagall, ridden by R.P. Downey, and Irish Ambassador, ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared the rider of Chagall failed to ride in a straight line prior to reaching the Marker Poles. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found R.P. Downey in breach of Rule 211 (Marker Poles) and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.
