019A Irishinjuredjockeys.com Claiming Race

R.P. Cleary, rider of Complete Fiction trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a bit in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Here And Now (GB), trained by James McAuley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. McMonagle, rider of House Of Kings trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced very keen.

M.A. Enright, rider of Tooreen Angel trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Cursory Exam (GB) trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room at the furlong pole.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Mads Black Eights trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump from the right at the furlong pole.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Dare To Flare, ridden by C. Horgan, Tooreen Angel, ridden by M.A. Enright, Lord Mczie, ridden by Conor Clarke, Cursory Exam (GB), ridden by D.W. O'Connor, and Mads Black Eights, ridden by S.M. Crosse, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.A. Enright, Conor Clarke, D.W. O'Connor and S.M. Crosse all stated that they received interference from their outer. C. Horgan accepted that his mount drifted to the right, adding that he corrected the drift after hearing a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C. Horgan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned C. Horgan on this occasion C. Horgan was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. Kevin O'Ryan.

019E View Restaurant Dundalk Apprentice M'dn

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Baby Bubbles trained by Alan Fleming, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the gates.

D. McMonagle, rider of Eskimo Lil trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keen.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pocket Veto, trained by James McAuley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race. Samples were taken for further analysis.

The Stewards interviewed Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Twilight Man (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she had used her whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Amy Jo Hayes was in breach of R10.3g(frequency) and having considered her record, they suspended her for 1 raceday. Amy Jo Hayes was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr Brian Slattery.

J. Kearney, rider of Eloy D'amerval trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of International Lady trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the gates.

019G Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the first bend involving The Peckhampouncer, ridden by L.T. McAteer, Inishmot Prince, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, Noirvento, ridden by G.M. Ryan, and Pandemic Princess, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount raced keen to the bend. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he ran short of room when things got tight. G.M. Ryan stated that he got pressure from his outside. S.P. Davis felt he was entitled to move to the rail as he was clear of the other horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards of the view that any interference was accidental and they took no further action.

The Stewards requested a report from Tracey Collins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Noirvento, placed second, as compared with its recent form. Tracey Collins stated that Noirvento didn't come home well the last day and had freshened up since. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.

S.P. Davis, rider of Pandemic Princess trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keen.

D. McMonagle, rider of Akua trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the gates.
