The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

354C Gateway Hotel Dundalk Apprentice H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Tiktok Time, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost both front shoes in running.

H.J. Horgan, rider of Trishuli River, trained by Shane Crawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered in the first furlong.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Monzoon (GB), trained by Noel C. Kelly, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the first furlong involving Fleetfootsoldier, ridden by C.M Hogan, Indiana Grey, ridden by J. Kearney, What Adaay (GB), ridden by W. Joyce, and Trishuli River, ridden by H.J. Horgan where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, J. Kearney stated that he was tight for room on the rail in the first furlong. C.M. Hogan stated that he felt pressure from his right in the first furlong. H.J. Horgan stated that he was hampered in the first furlong after pressure from his outside. W. Joyce stated that he came across from his draw and felt he was just clear enough of the horses on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.D. Bowen, rider of Monzoon (GB), trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out from the three furlong pole.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Punk Poet, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Hightimeyouwon (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked left in the final half furlong.

C.T. Keane, rider of Darcy's Rock (GB), trained by J.J.Lambe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not move well in the home straight.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Empress Of Bough, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered on the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Havana Notion (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, Empress Of Bough, ridden by R.P. Cleary, and Suityourselfboss, ridden by J.A. Powell where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, R. Whearty stated that he got tight for room on the rail going into the first bend. R.P. Cleary stated that he was getting pressure from his outside going into the first bend. J.A. Powell stated that his mount was running keen and he was doing his best to help the horses on his inside but stated that the field was racing very tightly at that point of the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards could not apportion blame to any rider and therefore they took no further action.

Keith Henry Clarke, trainer of Kuwait Direction, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race.

J. Kearney, rider of Dabana, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Miss Paloma (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Storm Eric, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed second, and Unterberg, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third, where it appeared they made slight contact close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Lucky Queen, trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Clever Capall, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left up the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards fined J.A. Nash, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Astrophysicist (GB), prior to entering the parade ring.
