The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

040A Irishinjuredjockeys.com Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Jaafel, ridden by D. King, placed first, Notforalongtime (GB), ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed second, and Prince Of Abington, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman, placed fourth, where it appeared Notforalongtime drifted left causing Prince Of Abington to run short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. King stated that he felt contact on his mounts hind quarters but otherwise kept a straight line. J.J.G. Ryan accepted that his mount had drifted causing interference. Jessica O'Gorman stated that she was carried left by the horse on her outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.J.G. Ryan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, the Raceday Stewards suspended them for 1 raceday.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Prince Of Abington, concerning the fact that she appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Jessica O'Gorman was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered her record they suspended her for 1 raceday.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.B. Kelly, rider of Chavajod (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Big Baby Bull, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, Inflection Point, ridden by Cillian McConnell, unplaced, Chavajod (GB), ridden by S.B. Kelly, placed sixth, Field Of Honour (GB), ridden by K.S. McHugh, unplaced, and Prince Of Abington, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman, placed fourth, where it appeared Inflection Point ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan stated that he did not meet with any interference. Cillian McConnell stated that he was tightened up by the horse on his outside. S.B. Kelly felt he was clear of the horse on his inside before he moved across. K.S. McHugh said he received pressure from the horse on his outside. Jessica O'Gorman felt she did not contribute to the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S.B. Kelly was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Big Baby Bull, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

Cillian McConnell, rider of Inflection Point, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered shortly after leaving the stalls.

C.T. Keane, rider of Roderick (GB), trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared leaving the stalls.

040B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

J. Kearney, rider of Flotus Radiance, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount acted up in the stalls.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Perfect Bliss, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.

040C Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

S.B. Kelly, rider of Miss Mirabell, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early and ran around in the straight when she hit the front.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Miss Mirabell, ridden by S.B. Kelly, placed fifth, and Pierre Lapin, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, placed sixth, where it appeared Miss Mirabell drifted right onto Pierre Lapin. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

040D View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving El Campeador, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, Expound (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed fifth, and Relevant Range, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, where it appeared El Campeador ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. McDonogh stated that he had to take back after receiving pressure from both sides. J.M. Sheridan felt he kept his mount straight. W.J. Lee stated that his mount leaned right but he did tried to keep his mount straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of El Campeador, trained by J.G.Coogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of Military Crown (GB), trained by H.D. McGuigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.

040E Book Online @ DundalkStadium.com H'cap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Theriverrunsdeep, trained by Seamus G. O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference in the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of Selective Power, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he dropped his reins at the two furlong marker and also that his mount ran around in the straight.

R. Whearty, rider of Sin E Shekells (GB), trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls and he received a bump from behind in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Theriverrunsdeep, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, Selective Power, ridden by D. McMonagle, unplaced, and Sin E Shekells (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, unplaced, where it appeared Theriverrunsdeep had to check after his ground was taken. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he had to check back when Selective Power moved left into his path. D. McMonagle stated that his horse dived left after he gave him a flick but he corrected him with his reins as soon as possible. R. Whearty felt he kept straight and received contact from behind. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

040F Willie Buckley Memorial H'cap

Gerard O'Leary, trainer of Mehman (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had a nasal discharge post race.

040G DundalkStadium.com Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Wonder Spirit (GB), ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, and Dr Patrick, ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, where it appeared Wonder Spirit had to check after Dr. Patrick manoeuvered towards the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated his mount was running keen and was trying to take back when Dr Patrick was making his way towards to rail. P.A. Harnett said he didn't hear a shout and felt Wonder Spirit running keen made the incident look worse than it actually was. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

R. Whearty, rider of Neverfindanother U, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gerard O'Leary, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Deluca Chop (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Adrian Joyce, Authorized representative stated that Deluca Chop was given a break to freshen him up and the step up in trip in his opinion may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

040H Dundalk Winter Series Championship Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Stone-Walsh, rider of San Andreas, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards Verdict were satisfied that C. Stone-Walsh was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Okita Soushi, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted slightly right under pressure.
