McGovern, where it appeared Alhajjaj(GB) got bumped on the turn into the straight. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.J. McGovern stated that he received slight interference, his mount was knocked off his stride but was going backwards at the time. Siobhán Rutledge stated that her mount is a big horse who was awkward and slow around the bend and has a tendency to hang left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise Siobhán Rutledge to ride with more care in future.

The Stewards interviewed Anthony McCann, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Ragtime Red. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had initially nominated D.E. Sheehy to ride however he didn't satisfy the conditions of the race as he had ridden more than 15 winners in the time period. Shortly after the cut off period he had tried to submit a new nomination of rider (J.A. Powell) but at that stage it was too late. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and accepted the nomination of J.A. Powell at this time.
